An invitation to Canterbury Old Boys
On behalf of the Otago Boys' High School Foundation, I warmly invite our Canterbury-based Old Boys, along with those from further afield, to join us for a relaxed and enjoyable gathering.
We will be hosting an OBHS Old Boys’ function on Friday 29 May, from 5.30pm, at the Canterbury Club. This will be a casual opportunity to reconnect, have a yarn, and strengthen the ties that bind our Old Boy community. Our Rector, Richard Hall, will share an update on our great school and the progress we are making in many areas.
The Foundation will provide nibbles, and a cash bar will be available for refreshments. Whether you can drop in briefly or stay for the evening, we would be delighted to see you there.
This event is happening ahead of the newly-formed South Island Boys Schools (SIBS) rugby matches. Our 1st XV team will play two games over the King's Birthday weekend. At this stage, both matches will be played at St Bede’s College, the first against Marlborough Boys’ College on Saturday May 30, and St Thomas of Canterbury College on Monday June 1. Match times are yet to be confirmed - keep an eye on this page for updates.
